Explore the Castle’s open garden and meet local projects and practitioners that share our passion for all things green.
There will be activities for everyone: a may pole of climbing rope to twine; wildlife and herb walks around the garden and reservoir; yurt frame building; woven hurdle making and craft demonstrations; seed bombs; natural dyes; flax clothes; and all manner of natural crafts!
This is a free fete but food and drink will be sold out of our round house from mid afternoon.
This is a spring day not to miss!

Did you know that much of the garden has been built by volunteers? Want to get involved?
• Garden warm ups. Get a good warm up before you climb by ferrying wheelbarrows of material. We’ll give you tea and cake in exchange! • Weekend workdays. Learn new skills and meet new people. We’ll provide the training, equipment and lunch. • Garden volunteer programme. Mondays - Herbs. Thursdays - Fruit and Veg.
