We are always on the look out for enthusiastic people, who want to work for London’s number one multi-discipline climbing centre.
We’ve been serving the London climbing community since 1995. We love our unique building with its lush garden, but it wouldn’t be anything without the passionate team that work here.
We promote a culture based on respect. That’s why we support the London Living Wage and pay above government guidelines to reflect the real costs of living in the capital.
In 2018, the Castle established the Employees Benefit Trust (EBT). This trust is chaired by staff members and represents the opinions and ideas of the staff. What’s more, the EBT holds shares in the Castle, which means dividends are paid out to staff on an annual basis. So, staff directly benefit from the Castle’s success.
We are a planet first business. We do whatever we can to reduce our environmental impact and educate and encourage our staff to be responsible in their decisions too. So, when staff travel using slower but lower carbon emissions forms of travel, they can claim up to an additional day of annual leave so they don't lose out (for example, taking a ferry or a train to Europe instead of flying).
Regardless of whether you’re just starting out on your climbing journey or you’re dedicated to regular training, you can make the most of our world-class facilities for free. But that’s not all... We’ve got a reciprocal agreement with most other climbing walls in London so you can get free entry at these too!
We offer a comprehensive health care cash plan, which includes provision for both physical and mental health, to every employee.
We strive to create an inclusive and friendly atmosphere for all our visitors and this starts with our staff. We are proactively working towards employing a higher proportion of people from groups traditionally underrepresented in climbing to improve diversity at our wall.
