Extra Special Summer Tasters

To celebrate the Olympics this summer, the Castle is offering extra special summer tasters with a unique twist - the chance to abseil the SW Tower of our gorgeous Grade II listed Castle. 

Recommended for

Adults/Families who have never climbed before and want to try top-roping and abseiling under the supervision of a qualified Instructor in a small group.

Cancellation: No refund given if cancelled within 72 hours of the event.
Note: A minimum of 2 participants are required in order for this course to run. Please note that this course will run for 1 hour if only two persona are booked on a session.

Course outcome

This session simply provides the chance for you to get on the walls and experience the thrilling rush of 100 ft abseil down in the middle of our SW Tower. You won't learn any skills on this 120-minute course, our instructors will take care of all the safety and technical stuff so you can just have fun.
